It is in Launchpad but it doesn't start. The console report an error and finally a crash:

I was afraid that something like this might happen. We've been trying to maintain compatibility with 10.7, but it is possible that updates we had to make within one of the frameworks we are using (SFBPopovers) in order to make the app compatible with 10.10, have now made it incompatible with 10.7.

Unfortunately, we have no 10.7 machines anywhere to test on. The best work-around for 10.7 users is probably not to upgrade beyond 1.1.3. Do you have access to that version from a time machine backup?

I'm afraid that we've now gotten to the point where we can no longer maintain compatibility with prior versions of OS X and also current versions in one app. So the future of properVOLUME will likely be a 2.0 re-write that is Yosemite+ only and version 1.x that will stop receiving upgrades and maintain compatibility with prior versions of OS X.
